Dimitri van den Bergh

Dimitri van den Bergh is still only 25, despite having been on the circuit for a while now. The world number 28 produced a quarter-final run at the World Championships, again showing his ability on the biggest stage of them all. In all four of those games, he landed more 180s than his opponents. His big scoring ability means he is worth playing in the most 180s market at 10/11. Karel Sedlacek was a late replacement for tonight, and the Czech Republic thrower shouldn’t give Dimitri much trouble in the 180 department.

Rob Cross v Dimitri van den Bergh

Rob Cross is the favourite against Dimitri, but as we saw during the World Championship and Premier League, he hasn’t been at his best for a while now. He lost to Keegan Brown and Danny Noppert in the final weekend of Players Championship this year, and there is no reason why van den Bergh can’t get the better of him here. The Belgian averaged 102 in defeat to Gerwyn Price at the UK Open, showing the very high level he can play at. Take the 27/20 on him and if he can find an early rhythm, he will prove a tough nut to crack.
