We have a 9/2 double for Night 27 of the PDC Home Tour
Steve Beaton v Ross Smith
The 180 market is slightly out of line here, so take the 15/8 on Steve Beaton most 180s which is overpriced. The Bronzed Adonis fired in a 180 in all of his matches on Night 13 of the PDC Home Tour. He is still, after all these years, a very good scorer. His efforts in the World Championship prove this, outscoring his opponents in the 180’s in all three of his matches back in December. Ross Smith is a decent scorer, but in his final two games in his first appearance in this event he showed he isn’t an extremely heavy 180 hitter, scoring just one in 16 legs of darts.
Ron Meulenkamp v Steve Beaton
Even though he was solid on the 180s, Beaton averaged in the 80’s in all three of his games last month. Ron Meulenkamp produced a 100 average and incredible 6 180s in his final game of his first group on the 30th of April. The Dutchman is very capable, regularly achieving an average in the 90’s. That should be enough to help him get past Beaton in the final game of the night, so is worth playing at 10/11.
