Steve Beaton's best bets for Sunday 29th December and predictions for the Round 4 matches already confirmed.
World Darts Championship
The World Darts Championship moves into the final third round games today before starting later tonight with the fourth round and all players fighting for the top price of £500,000.
We have three unseeded players through to last 16 so far who have played exceptionally and are hoping to go all the way to the final on January 3rd.
We saw another nine darter in the first game of the third round by Damien Heta but just like Christian Kist he failed to win the match and lost to an impressive Luke Woodhouse.
Clayton had a battle with Gurney but is now through to an all Welsh clash with my outright fancy Gerwyn Price who came through one of the most exciting games of the tournament against Joe Cullen which went to the deciding leg.
Peter Wright was back to his best despite having a cough and cold and now plays world number one Luke Humphries tonight.
I hope you had the bet on Ryan Joyce to beat Ryan Searle; it was a mouth watering game but well deserved by the big man.
Meanwhile, Pietreczko looked very classy and will now play an up and down Nathan Aspinall despite his 4-0 defeat of Andrew Gilding.
Another close game between Chris Dobey and Josh Rock with Dobey coming out on top 4-2 and will now play the winner of this afternoon's game between Doets and Ratajski.
No problems for MVG and Luke Littler, who both secured their slots for Monday in R4.
