PDC World Championship

The World Darts Championship moves into the Quarter-Final games with eight players remaining from the initial 96 as they compete for the top price of £500,000.

Teenager Luke Littler survived a massive scare to beat Ryan Joyce 4-3 and reach the quarter-finals on Monday evening.

Despite struggling with his doubles, Littler won the first, third, and fifth sets, but Joyce kept forcing a deciding set.

In the final set, Littler broke Joyce’s throw and averaged 111 to secure the win. He will face Nathan Aspinall next.

Michael van Gerwen sealed a 4-2 victory over Jeffrey de Graaf. Van Gerwen raced to a 2-0 lead, and although De Graaf fought back, the Dutchman finished strong with six consecutive legs. He faces Callan Rydz in the quarters.

Stephen Bunting made light work of Luke Woodhouse, winning 4-0, while Nathan Aspinall breezed past Ricardo Pietreczko 4-0. Callan Rydz battled through a 4-3 win over Robert Owen, and Chris Dobey defeated Kevin Doets 4-3 to set up a quarter-final clash with Gerwyn Price.

Darts Tips for World Championship Quarter-Final Matches

Chris Dobey vs. Gerwyn Price Tips

Gerwyn Price to Win - 19/20 with AKBets

Price has dominated their past encounters, winning 12 of the last 13 meetings with Dobey's sole victory coming in 2019.

Dobey has had the easier route to this stage, while Price has faced tougher competition than his opponent today and shown his class.

With more experience and great H2H record, Price's mental edge and superior consistency should see him advance.

Gerwyn Price was Steve Beaton's outsider pick at the start of the tournament.

Peter Wright vs. Stephen Bunting Tips

Peter Wright to Win - 6/4 with AKBets

Peter Wright, a two-time world champion, is set to face Stephen Bunting, ranked 8th, in 2024.

Wright has a strong track record against Bunting, with 17 wins to Bunting's 11 but has suffered a poor season and was in poor form heading into the torunament.

Despite a challenging year, Wright’s recent performances, including a sensational win over defending champion Luke Humphries, demonstrate his class and readiness in this tournament.

Bunting, while consistent, lacks the same level of big-match mentality and experience that Wright possesses on his day.

Wright’s ability to master key moments in set play, even against top-level competition like Humphries, gives him a great chance in this matchup despite Bunting's flying form.
