Premier League Darts is back with a bang with Luke Littler vs MVG in Belfast tonight.
Premier League Darts Week 1
The 21st edition of Premier League Darts begins on Thursday night when the sport’s biggest roadshow gets underway in Belfast. The 17-week extravaganza will see a star-studded eight-man field go head-to-head over 16 weeks before finals night in London.
Newly crowned world champion Luke Littler was handed his Premier League debut last year and went on to become the youngest winner in the competition's history. The teenage sensation heads the outright betting this year at a best price of 7/4 on 10 Bet, while 2024 runner-up Luke Humphries is the second favourite at 10/3 with the same firm.
As has been the case since 2022, each Premier League night takes the format of a mini-tournament where the eight players start in the quarter-finals. The winner of the night takes five points (+ £10,000 bonus), the runner-up three points and the two beaten semi-finalists two.

Week 1 Premier League Darts Predictions
Chris Dobey and Gerwyn Price contest the Belfast curtain-raiser and the Iceman looks well placed to avenge the defeat that he suffered against Hollywood at the World Darts Championships.
Stephen Bunting marks his return to the Premier League with a match against Rob Cross that could well go the distance.
Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen meet in a blockbuster rematch of their World Championship final and the Warrington wonderkid looks poised to claim a fifth successive victory over the Dutchman.
Four days on from his World Masters triumph, Luke Humphries can hit the ground running by overcoming Nathan Aspinall.
Week 1 Darts Betting Tips
Gerwyn Price to Beat Chris Dobey - 8/11 (Betfair)
Gerwyn Price can get the better of Chris Dobey in Belfast. The Iceman ’has won 12 of the previous 13 meetings between the pair, including each of their five duels in the 2023 Premier League. Dobey has gone off the boil since defeating Price last month, while the Welshman appears to be slowly but surely rediscovering his best form.
Luke Littler Win & Most 180s vs Michael van Gerwen - 17/20 (BoyleSports)
Luke Littler is the understandable favourite against Michael van Gerwen but we can bolster the odds on offer by including the Nuke to hit the most 180s, which pays an attractive 17/20 on BoyleSports. No player hit more 180s than Littler in last year's Premier League, not to mention this combination has clicked in three of his last four victories over van Gerwen.
