World Darts Championship Day 9 Accumulator Tip

Leg 1: Kevin Doets vs Matthew Dennant – Kevin Doets Win

Kevin Doets has impressed at the Ally Pally in recent years. The Dutchman reached the second round two years back, and at last year’s tournament, he enjoyed a deep run to the last 16, seeing off the likes of Michael Smith and Krzysztof Ratajski along the way.

It’s also worth noting that Doets defeated Nathan Aspinall to reach the quarter-finals of this year’s Dutch Darts Masters, where he was narrowly beaten by Gerwyn Price.

Doets’ superior big-stage experience, combined with his heavy 180 scoring ability, spells trouble for Ally Pally debutant Matthew Dennant, who has yet to make an impact in his limited appearances at major events.

Available at a best price of 8/13 on SpreadEx, Hawkeye looks well placed to get off to a flying start on Friday afternoon.

Leg 2: Mickey Mansell vs Leonard Gates – Leonard Gates +2.5 Handicap

Mickey Mansell’s first-round clash with Leonard Gates on Friday afternoon pits two players with hugely contrasting styles against each other.

Mansell is well known for his measured, methodical approach, while crowd-pleaser Gates plays with energy and lights up the stage with his charisma.

Mansell holds little appeal as a short-priced favourite, with Gates more than capable of keeping this contest competitive. The Soldier pulled off an upset last year when defeating Cameron Menzies, and he also took a set in a second-round loss to Nathan Aspinall. Likely to have the backing of the Ally Pally crowd for this one, Gates looks worth supporting with a +2.5 handicap start.

Leg 3: Josh Rock vs Gemma Hayter – Josh Rock 3-0

Listed among the favourites to win this year’s World Darts Championship, it would be a seismic shock if Josh Rock fell at the first hurdle against Gemma Hayter on Friday afternoon. Unsurprisingly, this is reflected in the pre-match odds, with Rock available at a best price of 1/33 on Bet365. However, backing Rock to claim a straight-sets victory boosts the odds to a much more appealing 8/13 on UniBet.

Rock has enjoyed a remarkable 2025, consistently posting massive averages, making deep runs in majors and clinching the World Cup alongside Daryl Gurney.

Tournament debutant Hayter could hardly have asked for a tougher opener, and it’s hard to see her troubling Rock.

Leg 4: Nathan Aspinall vs Lourence Ilagan – Nathan Aspinall Win & Most 180s

Nathan Aspinall should make no mistake in his first-round clash with Lourence Ilagan on Friday night. With form and confidence back, the Asp will be aiming for a deep run at this year’s World Darts Championship.

The Stockport star has been particularly impressive with his 180 scoring this season, racking up 535 maximums ahead of his latest quest for Ally Pally glory.

With that in mind, backing Aspinall to win both the match and the 180 battle makes sense at a best price of 4/11 with Bet365.

While Ilagan can be an awkward opponent at times, the Philippines thrower is not known for frequent 180s.
