Williams thrives as a showman on the big stage - something that was clear when he averaged 99.25 and won the 180 battle 4-3 in his first round win over Nebrida.

Given how adept Williams is at filling up the treble 20 bed, the Boston ace holds plenty of appeal with a +2 start on the 180 handicap.

While Wattimena is also a reliable 180 hitter, overcoming a -2 hurdle against Williams will be a tall order, especially in a game that could go the distance.

Danny Noppert should prove too strong for Justin Hood when the pair meet in round two on Tuesday night.

The Dutchman, one of the standout performers on the PDC circuit throughout 2025, came through his opener with a 3-1 win over Jurjen van der Velde. It was a professional display from the Freeze, who averaged just over 96.5 and hit seven 180s for good measure.

While Hood impressed when claiming a straight sets victory over Nick Kenny in his first round clash, Noppert represents a significant step up in class. It may not be as straightforward as the betting suggests, but on current form, Noppert should get the job done.

Gary Anderson vs Connor Scutt

A similarly tight contest is likely here, with over 3.5 sets looking like a strong option. Both players are capable of heavy scoring, so another close, competitive match could be on the cards.
