World Darts Championship Round 3 - Day 1 Treble @ 4/1 – Ladbrokes
Leg 1: Andrew Gilding vs Luke Woodhouse – Andrew Gilding Win
Best odds of 4/5 at AK Bets while publishing.
Andrew Gilding looks poised to come out on top against Luke Woodhouse on Saturday afternoon. Goldfinger has made a real impression in the early rounds of this year’s World Darts Championship, averaging just shy of 100 in his wins over both Cameron Crabtree and Chris Dobey.
If Gilding can replicate that level of performance when he faces Woodhouse, he should progress to the fourth round. Gilding is best priced at 4/5 on AKBets, which holds plenty of appeal based on his opening round displays.
Woodhouse has reached this stage by overcoming Boris Krcmar and Max Hopp, but now a much stiffer challenge awaits, with his victories so far lacking the spark needed to go further.
Leg 2: Andreas Harrysson vs Ricardo Pietreczko – Ricardo Pietreczko Win
Best odds of 7/10 at UniBet while publishing.
Ricardo Pietreczko should extend his stay at the World Darts Championship by defeating Andreas Harrysson in round three on Saturday night. The 31-year-old German thrower, aiming to secure a spot in the last 16 for the second consecutive year, has delivered two solid performances to defeat both Jose de Sousa and Dave Chisnall.
Having already navigated his way past a couple of notable names, Pietreczko looks worth backing to defeat the lesser-known Harrysson, with best odds of 7/10 on Unibet.
The experienced Swede has exceeded expectations to reach the third round on his Ally Pally debut, but with an average of 88.06 and just two 180s in his round two win over Motomu Sakai, Harrysson will have to find another gear to avoid being sent packing by Pietreczko.
Leg 3: Luke Littler vs Mensur Suljovic – Luke Littler To Win 4-0
Best odds of 3/4 at Ladbrokes.
While Luke Littler has yet to hit top gear at this year’s World Darts Championship, he hasn’t put a foot wrong in making his way through to round three. The teenage sensation has posted two straight-set victories over Darius Labanauskas and David Davies, and he has the potential to do the same against Mensur Suljovic on Saturday night.
Suljovic’s methodical style will present Littler with a different kind of challenge, but it’s hard to see anything other than a straightforward victory for the defending champion. The Austrian averaged a modest 81.95 in his second round win over Joe Cullen, so he will need to raise his game significantly if he is to keep pace with the 180 machine that is Littler.
The accumulator is a best price of 4/1 at Ladbrokes while publishing.
