World Darts Championship Day 8 Accumulator @ 1.77/1 – William Hill

Leg 1: Callan Rydz vs Patrik Kovacs – Callan Rydz Most 180s

Best odds of 2/5 at bet365 during publishing.

Callan Rydz looks well placed to hit the most 180s in his round one clash with Patrik Kovacs in Thursday afternoon’s curtain-raiser. The Riot ruffled a few feathers on his way to last year’s quarter-finals, racking up a bucketload of 180s in the process. In fact, only Luke Littler (76) and Michael van Gerwen (56) hit more maximums than Rydz (43) at last year’s World Darts Championships.

The Geordie arrowsmith has also been a frequent 180 hitter throughout 2025, amassing over 300 ahead of his latest trip to the Ally Pally.

Kovacs, meanwhile, is one of this year’s World Darts Championship debutants and is nowhere near the 180 machine that Rydz is.

Leg 2: Jermaine Wattimena vs Dominik Gruellich – Jermaine Wattimena Over 2.5 180s

Best odds of 3/10 at William Hill while publishing.

Jermaine Wattimena and Dominik Gruellich will get Thursday night’s session underway at Alexandra Palace. Wattimena is the overwhelming favourite to come out on top here, so instead look for the Dutchman to deliver over 2.5 180s.

The Machine Gun is well known for his fast-paced throwing style, which often sees him produce high amounts of 180s. That is reflected in the fact that Wattimena sits inside the top 20 of the PDC’s 180 leaderboard this season. With that in mind, the Dutchman looks a solid pick to fire three or more maximums in his first round clash with Gruellich.

Leg 3: Dave Chisnall vs Fallon Sherrock – Fallon Sherrock Over 1.5 180s

Best odds of 4/11 at Virgin Bet while publishing.

Fallon Sherrock will make her sixth World Darts Championship appearance with a first round clash against Dave Chisnall on Thursday night.

Chisnall may be the heavy favourite, but Sherrock has shown she can trouble anyone, especially on this stage

With plenty of crowd support, the Queen of the Palace looks well placed to hit at least two 180s against Chizzy. Sherrock produced a whopping six 180s in her round-one defeat to Jermaine Wattimena two years ago, while she hit four maximums to Ryan Meikle’s three at this stage of the tournament 12 months ago.

Leg 4: Michael van Gerwen vs Mitsuhiko Tatsunami – Michael van Gerwen Most 180s, Highest Checkout and Win Match

Best odds of 40/85 at SpreadEx while publishing.

Michael van Gerwen should kick off his quest for a fourth World Darts Championship title by making light work of Mitsuhiko Tatsunami on Thursday night. While the Dutchman is not as dominant as he once was, he showed last year that he remains a force to be reckoned with, finishing as runner-up to Luke Littler.

Backing van Gerwen to win while hitting the most 180s and landing the highest checkout boosts the odds to a best price of 40/85 on SpreadEx.

The Green Machine remains a reliable 180 hitter and one of the best at taking out three-figure finishes, and he should assert his authority against Japanese debutant Tatsunami.

The accumulator is a best price of 1.77/1 at William Hill and Boyle Sports.
