Watford v Everton

Both teams have scored in 58% of Watford’s Premier League matches at Vicarage Road this season, while the figure is also 58% for Everton’s away games – the fifth-highest in the Premier League.

With just one clean sheet in their last six on the road – against a toothless Huddersfield side – Everton are extremely likely to concede here, though Burnley are the only side to fail to score an away goal against Watford since October.

A classic, mid-table BTTS candidate, this.

Plymouth v Portsmouth

The stats suggest this one is a banker.

73% of Portsmouth’s away games have seen both teams score, and although they have just one point from their last four League One fixtures, they’ve only failed to score once in that time.

The Pilgrims are flying, and have won five of their last six; this said, with just two clean sheets at Home Park all season (with both teams scoring in 67% of these matches), BTTS looks massively likely.

BTTS - 1pt @ 4/5

AFC Wimbledon v Burton

Another match where the stats are very much in our favour.

Only two sides’ home matches have seen both teams score more than Wimbledon’s (67% in total), which is why their clash with Burton looks particularly promising.

The Brewers, after a barren spell of four matches without an away goal, have now scored six in their last two, and it’s unlikely Wimbledon’s defence – with two home clean sheets all season – will keep them out.

BTTS - 1pt @ 19/20

Lincoln v Northampton

A whopping 79% of Lincoln’s home matches have seen both teams score this season – by far the most in the league – while Northampton’s away rate is a healthy 60%.

The Cobblers have netted in their last eight away games, while Lincoln have failed to score at Sincil Bank on just one occasion this season.

This feels like another banker.
