West Ham vs Aston Villa - 20:00

West Ham and Aston Villa have both put out some brilliant performances, with the two heading into tonight’s fixture with only a point to separate them.

The Hammers are coming off the back of two Premier League wins without conceding and have only conceded a total of three goals all season.

As much as Villa’s recent form does ask some questions, this remains their strongest start to a Premier League campaign in nearly 20 years, winning five and losing three.

Despite the Hammers’ compact approach to the season, David Moyes’ career record against Aston Villa shows he has only managed to keep a clean sheet in one of his last 22 meetings and in which 77% of these games saw both teams score.

Villa are heading into the game as the underdogs, a positon they have been in multiple times this season in games which they beat both Liverpool and Arsenal, fair to say comfortably.

As much as this shows the underdog status doesn’t faze them, Dean Smith will be without Ross Barkley after an injury at Brighton. The Chelsea loanee turned out to be quite a vital cog in the Villa midfield which will no doubt be a big loss for Villa.

A player who could definitely cause problems for Villa’s back four is Michail Antonio who is said to be returning tonight, he will be hoping to continue his form prior to injury.

With their current form in mind and an almost full squad at their disposal, the 13/9 on West Ham to get the win whilst Villa are missing Ross Barkley looks like a good price tonight.
