Manchester United transfer rumours: Will Ruben Neves trade Molineux for Old Trafford?

The Portuguese midfielder is currently odds of 2/1 to join the Red Devils.

After uncharacteristically decisive movements in the summer transfer window, United believe a defensive midfielder could be the missing piece in the puzzle to mount a title charge this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already added Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho to his squad and is also reportedly looking to change to a more attacking formation ahead of the new season. Last season's reliable duo of Scott McTominay and Fred could be replaced by a single defensive midfielder and according to reports, Ruben Neves could be the man for the job.

Manchester United Premier League Title Odds: United are a well backed 8/1 shot to win the title
