Brighton transfer rumours: will Celtic’s Edouard make a big money move to the south coast?

It’s fair to say the lack of a quality striker hurt Brighton last season. Despite generally being one of the stronger sides in the division from a data perspective, a failure to convert big opportunities saw them entangled in a relegation battle for much of the campaign.

However, Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard could be the man to remedy this headache, and is priced at 10/11 to join the Seagulls.

The Frenchman has scored 55 goals in 91 league games for the Scottish outfit, and would no doubt be a success in the Premier League.

Brighton relegation odds: Graham Potter’s side as long as 8/1 to face drop

While Albion are no strangers to a relegation battle in the Premier League, they are 9th favourites to go down with the bookies, as the price for them succumb to the drop currently sits at a best price of 8/1.

Newly promoted Norwich, Watford and Brentford are the three favourites to instantly return to the Championship, priced at evens, 11/10 and 19/13 respectively.

Crystal Palace, under the stewardship of Patrick Vieira are next in the market at 15/8, followed by Burnley (11/4) Newcastle (10/3) and Southampton (5/1).
