Everton transfer rumours: Who is the Toffees’ most likely signing, according to the bookies? 

Out of all players linked with Everton at the bookmakers, Denzel Dumfries is the only name currently odds-on to join the Toffees this summer.   

The Euro 2020 breakout star has been cut from 4/1 into 10/11 since the tournament to join Everton, giving him the shortest odds among potential new players.

Since the tournament, a whopping 76% of all bets on Dumfries' next club have all backed Everton. 

Inter Milan are the next nearest challengers but at 3/1. Tottenham are 12/1 in the race for the Dutch international, whilst Bayern Munich (20/1) and Real Madrid (25/1) follow next.

At the time of writing, bookies currently have Everton as the 8th best team in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Leicester and Tottenham marginally ahead.  

That hasn’t stopped punters backing Everton to finish in the top six, however, with the Toffees well backed into 4/1 to secure European football.  

For those of you with a glass half empty, Everton are 5/4 for a bottom half finish and 25/1 to be relegated.  

If you’re feeling a little more optimistic, it’s 16/1 that Everton finish in the top four, and a whopping 200/1 to win the Premier League title.
