Derby v Huddersfield

Derby have been in absolute disarray this summer, and therefore Huddersfield look a bet to beat them.

Wayne Rooney almost guided the side into League One last year, and with an alarmingly small squad and further financial issues looming, they might already be doomed.

Huddersfield aren’t looking particularly clever either, but at least they have a coherent squad, and with Jordan Rhodes back at the club, they should have enough.

Huddersfield - 1pt @ 5/6

Luton v Peterborough

Luton are definitely dark horse candidates this season, and look a good bet to beat Peterborough in their opener.

Nathan Jones’ men have strengthened this summer and under the Welshman look a serious outfit.

The Posh may well survive this season, as they have goals within their ranks, but their defence will be seriously tested against this strong Hatters outfit on Saturday.

Luton - 1pt @ 21/17

Cambridge v Oxford

Finally there’s Oxford beating Cambridge.

Cambridge are one of the favourites to be relegated this season, while Oxford are one of the stronger sides in the division, and it’s likely to show.

Under Carl Robinson, the visitors really are putting something impressive together, and will be hoping to go one better than their recent play-off defeat.

Oxford - 1pt @ 9/8
