The oddschecker team have picked out a five-fold football accumulator for this Saturday’s 3 pm kick-offs across three tiers of English football. You can back it at a best price of 9/1.
Portsmouth to win vs Morecambe
Pompey host Morecambe at Fratton Park and they head into the game just five days removed from an early FA Cup exit to Harrogate. Prior to that, Portsmouth seemed to be in solid form with six wins from six. During this run they impressively won 1-0 away to Wycombe who currently sit in third place.
Morecambe on the other hand sit just one point above the drop and have won only one game in their last ten leagues matches. We feel Pompey should comfortably pick up the 3pts here.
Chelsea to win vs Leeds
Thomas Tuchel’s men head into this fixture in somewhat of a rocky patch, they could only manage a draw in the Champions League on Wednesday night against Zenit and they suffered their 2nd Premier League defeat of the season last week to West Ham. Prior to that they were in tremendous form in their past 12 games (10W, 2D).
Rotherham to win vs Burton Albion
Rotherham are leading the way in League One and are on a 19 game unbeaten run, their last loss came in September against Fleetwood Town. In their last four league games they’ve conceded just two goals. This tells you the kind of challenge facing Burton Albion when they visit Highbury Stadium on Saturday. Fleetwood hold the best defensive record in the league conceding only 14 goals through 20 games in this campaign. Burton are hovering in 10th place and are unlikely to challenge for a playoff spot. If everything goes to plan, Rotherham should find it all too easy.
Forest Green to win vs Oldham
Forest Green come into this game in superb form, they have four wins in their six games and sit in 1st position in League Two. Their nearest challengers are Northampton, but they lead them by six points and have a game in hand. Oldham on the other hand sit joint bottom of the table and just win in their last five games at home. They face a tough task here on Saturday and we feel Forrest Green will be too strong on this occasion.
Preston North End to win vs Barnsley
It’s a battle near the bottom in this one with Preston sitting 18th and Barnsley even further down in 23rd position. Barnsley have steadied the ship slightly by picking up two draws in their last two games and will surely need to pick up at least another point here. Preston still have a slim chance of making the playoffs currently sitting 9 points adrift of 6th place. A win here could kickstart a run that gets them into the top half of the table.
