Brentford v Chelsea – Under 2.5 Goals

When these sides met earlier in the year Chelsea only came out 1-0 winners and like most of English football both have been hit by COVID-19. Brentford have lost key defenders Ethan Pinnock and Kristoffer Ajer. However, Chelsea are the opposite with their attacking talent ravaged with Lukaku, Werner and Hudson-Odoi all unavailable. Both sides will be playing a weakened team in what could turn out to be an attritional affair, so don’t expect a thriller at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Tottenham v West Ham – Both Teams to Score

Tottenham returned to the Premier League with a very entertaining 2-2 draw against Liverpool. West Ham have seen 50% of their games end up with both teams scoring while Spurs have seen 40%. Both sets of fans treat this like a derby and this will realistically be the best chance for both teams to get silverware this season.

Liverpool to win

Leicester have suffered from injuries in their backline for the whole season and this game will be no different with centre-half trio Wesley Fofana, Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu all out as are James Justin and Janik Vestergaard. Liverpool will be confident of extending their winning run at Anfield to seven games despite the likelihood they field a very different side to what we saw against Spurs on Sunday. The likes of Takumi Minamino have shown they’re more than capable of deputising in the cup.
