The team at oddschecker have picked out a treble that features action from the EFL Trophy this evening. It pays best odds of 4/1.
19:00 Tuesday
Wigan to win vs Oldham
Wigan come into this one in fine form, they are unbeaten in 12 games and their last loss was back in October. Their away record is sublime, they’ve won four on the bounce and when you look at Oldham’s form it’s hard not to back against Wigan here. Their opponents Oldham are on the other end of the spectrum, they’ve failed to score in two successive games and are winless in five games. We fancy Wigan to be too strong for Oldham in this one.
19:00 Tuesday
Harrogate to win vs Carlisle
Harrogate got back to winning ways beating Tranmere Rovers 2-1 in the previous round, prior to that they have struggled somewhat, in their last six games in all competitions they’ve had (2W, 1D, 3L). Most notably they did pick up an impressive 2-1 win away to Portsmouth in the FA Cup. They should take confidence from their head-to-head record with Carlisle, with the Blues failing to beat Harrogate in their last three attempts.
19:00 Tuesday
Sutton to win vs Colchester
Sutton are at home to Colchester, quite frankly for Colchester this is a mammoth challenge facing them on Tuesday evening. Sutton have won 10 of their last 12 games at home, the word 'fortress' springs to mind. They’ve also kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven home games, Colchester may find it tricky to score never mind trying to win the game. Colchester have only managed one win in their last six away games. All signs point to a Sutton victory.
