Liverpool -1 Handicap vs Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury have been in decent form of late winning three of their last four, however this trip to Anfield will be a tough ask. Even though Liverpool have been hit with COVID issues (recently closing their Melwood training centre) they should still have a strong enough squad to get a result at home to the League One mid table side. Liverpool’s attack will be missing Mo Salah and Sadio Mane who are away at AFCON, but their second string have shown promise when deputising this season. Therefore, we’re going for Liverpool with a -1 handicap.

Wolves vs Sheffield Utd – Under 2.5 goals

This is a Wolves side that have seen under 2.5 goals in their last nine games in all competitions.  Most recently an outstanding 1-0 victory at Old Trafford where they outworked a sloppy Manchester United side. These tight games are not just against the big sides like United (1-0) or Chelsea (0-0), along this run they have had games against Burnley, Norwich, and Crystal Palace. It hasn’t exactly been goals galore for Sheffield United either, they’ve seen over 2.5 goals on one occasion in their last five matches. Under 2.5 seems the likely angle for this one.

Tottenham to win to nil vs Morecambe

It was always going to be a tough ask going to Stamford Bridge but even with that Conte will not be happy with the way they gave the two goals away in midweek in their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. He is slowly but surely stamping his mark on the team, tight defensively and ruthless on the counter-attack. They have kept five clean sheets in their last nine games and prior to that Spurs had only managed two clean sheets in 14 games. We feel Conte will take this competition seriously to go after some silverware that has so far alluded Spurs. Tottenham to win to nil seems a solid choice.

West Ham vs Leeds – Both Teams to Score

West Ham have seen both teams to score in eight of their last 13 game in all competitions. This is a Leeds side that have failed to reach the heights of last season, Marcelo Bielsa’s men have seemingly struggled to get going and are sitting 16th in the league table. Although their form hasn’t been the best they do always seem to get on the scoresheet, they’ve only failed to score once in their last six games. Therefore, we’ve gone for both teams to score in this one.
