The oddschecker team have picked out a 15/2 Wednesday fourfold accumulator covering action from the AFCON, EFL Cup and League One.
16:45 Wednesday
Mauritania vs Gambia – Over 1.5 goals
Our first selection of this four-fold features action from the African Cup of Nations and two lesser-known footballing nations who have a combined world ranking of 253. However, both these sides are quite evenly matched and both struggle with keeping it tight defensively, tending to concede the opening goal in previous matches. This one could go either way with a draw potentially being the most likely, but we figured for a safer option we’d go for over 1.5 goals.
19:45 Wednesday
West Ham vs Norwich – West Ham to win to nil
David Moyes’ West Ham side have made a winning start to 2022, picking up victories in both the League and the FA Cup. Their recent league form has been quite consistent (1W, 1D, 1L) and they will see this one as a must-win against Dean Smith’s relegation candidates. We fancy West Ham to win and keep a clean sheet for this one.
19:45 Wednesday
Charlton to win vs Crewe
Charlton head into this match having put in a strong performance against Norwich City in the FA Cup this past weekend. They lost the game 1-0 to a late goal from Milot Rashica but will be confident of winning this one as Crewe have lost all three games that these sides have played since 1998. Crewe are currently sitting in 23rd position and they’re seven points adrift from safety. We fancy Charlton to be too strong in this one.
19:45 Wednesday
Tottenham vs Chelsea – Over 1.5 goals
The final selection of our four-fold is the 2nd leg of the EFL Cup semi-final between Spurs and Chelsea. Conte’s men are trailing 2-0 after the first leg at Stamford Bridge last week and despite conceding two soft first half goals they did put in a better showing in the second half. We can only see goals in this one as Spurs will be forced to play on the front-foot and that could lead to counter attacks from Chelsea.
