Fulham to beat Hull

High-flying Fulham got back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Millwall after a defeat in the cup to the Premier League Champions. It means they’ve won five of their last six league games.

Aleksandar Mitrovic was back amongst the goals and the Cottagers should simply outscore this Hull side who suffered a disappointing loss at home to Preston last week followed by a possibly crucial defeat to Derby midweek.

QPR to beat Barnsley 

QPR welcomed influential midfielder Ilias Chair back from AFCON and he bagged in the entertaining midweek draw with Middlesbrough. The Hoops have the chance to make in nine wins in their last 13 league games as they head up to Oakwell. Hosts Barnsley look destined for the drop and few sides in the EFL have a worse record than their 17 losses in the last 21 games. Odds-against about the visitors looks very generous.

Accrington to beat Crewe

John Coleman could well be in the running for manager of the season yet again for what he is achieving with Accrington. Stanley sit in the top half of an ultra-competitive League One and despite financial constraints they continue to play really attractive and attacking football. They often come unstuck against the best teams in the division but run all over the poorer sides. Crewe certainly fit into the latter, they’ve just been battered by Plymouth and are expected to go down this season.

Plymouth to beat Shrewsbury 

Plymouth put in an incredible shift in the FA Cup last week at Stamford Bridge but still managed to follow up playing 120 minutes against the European champions with a resounding 4-1 win over the aforementioned Crewe. Argyle still harbour hopes of a top six finish and should fancy their chances of besting a shot-shy Shrewsbury side who were extremely fortunate to not lose at Wycombe last time out.
