Liverpool to beat Inter Milan

Liverpool have been impeccable so far in the Champions League with 6/6 wins, scoring 17 goals in the process. The Reds look to be approaching their best again with six wins on the trot in all competitions and head to San Siro having already won there in this competition against AC Milan. With a fully fit squad to choose from the Reds should be capable of outscoring their opponents and taking a win into the second leg at Anfield.

Bayern Munich to beat Salzburg

Bayern Munich suffered a shock loss at Bochum this weekend just gone, perhaps all eyes were on this clash with nearby Salzburg on the horizon. Bayern have ultimately won all six group stage games, scoring at least three times in five of those. Whilst Salzburg pose a threat going forward it’s the devastating quality of Bayern that should see them outscore their hosts here.

Atletico Madrid to beat Levante

Levante look destined for the drop this season as they sit at the foot of the La Liga table with just a single win to their name. It would be the miracle of all miracles if they managed to claw their way out of it but a trip to the capital is not what you want when confidence is fragile. Although Atletico have been a bit hit and miss this season they have scored seven goals in their last two home games and have enough depth to eventually get the better of their lowly opponents.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Accrington

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Rotherham at the weekend, but generally the Owls have been going great guns this year winning five of their last seven. Accrington did what they tend to do against the poorer sides in the league smashing Crewe 4-1 on Saturday. Away from home against the better sides they have struggled though and that could be the case again at Hillsborough.
