Crystal Palace to beat Stoke

Crystal Palace have benefited from their improved strength in depth this season to sustain a strong cup run. They have a winnable tie as they aim to reach the quarter-finals as they host an inconsistent Stoke City side at Selhurst Park. Patrick Vieira has an almost fully fit squad to choose from and performances at home have been very strong this season. Stoke are without the suspended Morgan Fox and the cup-tied Jaden Philogene-Bidace.

Wigan to beat Fleetwood

Wigan went down 3-0 against Sunderland at the weekend which was a surprising scoreline but Leam Richardson will be happy that his side have a game soon after to get back on track. The Latics had tallied up 17 points from a possible 21 in home games prior to the weekend and can bounce back as they host a Fleetwood side who may be fatigued after a long trip to Portsmouth where they threw away a 3-1 lead.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Burton 

Sheffield Wednesday are the form team in League One at the moment, winning six of their last seven games. Defensively they’ve been very sound with five of those six wins coming ‘to nil’. Despite a fair few injuries, Darren Moore is showing what a good manager he is and the Owls will fancy their chances of adding another three points as they aim for a playoff place this season. Opponents Burton aren’t in great nick with just one win in their last seven.

Bristol Rovers to beat Barrow

Bristol Rovers have been in fine fettle of late, picking up 11 points from their last five games and they are a side that looks to be improving as the season goes on. There have been a few people tipping the gas to sneak into the playoffs and there’s certainly a feel-good factor around the club at the minute with their forward-thinking players linking up nicely. Barrow have struggled all season, especially in the final third and this is a long trip for them to make.
