Sevilla to beat West Ham

West Ham looked like strong contenders for Europa League glory but they’ve drawn a really tricky tie against a Sevilla side that are used to lifting this trophy. Los Nervionenses battered Betis in the derby recently and will be eager to get an advantage ahead of the second leg in London. Odds-against quotes don’t look bad about a side who have lost just once at home this season.

Chelsea to beat Norwich 

Norwich have been sucked back to the bottom of the table after four straight losses. Dean Smith would’ve targeted the weekend clash with Brentford as a must win but the Canaries were deservedly beaten. Chelsea have top four on the line and have key players returning. They will be confident of doing a similar job to what they did at Burnley on Saturday.

Barcelona to beat Galatasaray 

Barcelona are looking the best they’ve looked for a long while and Xavi has benefitted from a strong winter recruitment drive which has given the Blaugrana added pace and incision in the final third. They should comfortably put Galatasaray away, we’ve seen fellow Turkish sides Besiktas and Fenerbache struggle in Europe and the gap between their domestic league and that of the big five is becoming greater.

Rangers to beat Crvena Zvezda

Rangers came through as outsiders against Borussia Dortmund in the last leg and they could’ve easily had tougher draws than Serbian side Red Star. There are plenty of similarities between the two domestic leagues but Rangers look to have that extra flair and quality in the final third which should see them take a lead into the second leg in Belgrade.
