Barcelona to beat Galatasaray

Barcelona have been rampant in La Liga of late but failed to beat a stubborn Galatasaray in the first round of this tie meaning they still have a job to do. The big guns may come out for Xavi and they should see off a side struggling in the SuperLig.

Monaco to beat Braga 

Monaco have to reverse a 2-0 defeat from the first leg against Braga and they have the quality to at least make a game of it in the principality. In Wissam Ben Yedder they have a top striker who knows where the net is and options are returning for Phillipe Clement.

AZ Alkmaar to beat Bodo Glimt

Bodo Glimt have been superb for a few years now and have made their mark in Europe too. They take a one-goal advantage into the away leg in Alkmaar but the hosts have been going great guns in the Eredivisie winning 11 of their last 13. With the onus on them to win we can trust the in form Dutch outfit to at least take this to extra time.

Rennes have it all to do after a 2-0 loss at the King Power last week but they bounced back with an exceptional 4-0 win at Lyon this weekend. They’re stacked with high-quality operators and could really make this tie interesting despite being in a disadvantageous position going into the 2nd leg.
