Celtic Double Chance

Celtic sit three points clear of their Glasgow rivals and have a superior goal difference ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm derby. The Hoops will be looking to be the first team since May 2020 to beat Rangers at the Ibrox in this title showdown. Celtic’s league form since their September loss to Livingstone has been near perfect taking 68 points from a possible 75, including a 3-0 trouncing of Rangers in early February. We’ve gone for a Celtic double chance here to effectively seal the title for the Green side of Glasgow.

West Ham v Everton - BTTS - No

West Ham’s indifferent league form, combined with their surge through the knockout stages in the Europa League has seen their priorities somewhat shift. The Hammers, who were in a strong position to contend for a top four position, now sit six points off sixth place Arsenal having played two extra games. On the other hand, Everton’s season has gone from bad to worse and Frank Lampard’s side need to start picking up points before they drop into the relegation zone. A win in the league last time out against Newcastle was needed and Everton will be looking to follow it up with a result at the London Stadium. In a game which is hard to call, we’ve gone for BTTS - No in what we think will be a cagey affair on Sunday.

Birmingham v West Brom - BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals

The Baggies come into this fierce Midlands derby four games unbeaten in the league and will need to extend that positive run to have any hopes of a play-off finish this season. Steve Bruce’s side currently sit seven points behind sixth-placed Blackburn Rovers with a game in hand over the Lancashire side. Birmingham are all but safe in the Championship this season, 14 points above Bristol City, who have seven games to play. Nonetheless, the atmosphere at St. Andrew’s on Sunday will be electric, and Lee Bowyer’s side will give it their all to have bragging rights over their Black Country rivals. We have gone for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in what we believe will be a match containing goals for both sides.

Tottenham v Newcastle - BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals

After a flying start to the year, Eddie Howe and Newcastle suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats against Chelsea and Everton before heading into the international break. Spurs also saw a turn of form before the break, ending their losing run with victories over Brighton and West Ham. Allan Saint-Maximin’s recent time on the sidelines has shown how important he is to this Newcastle side and he is expected to start on Sunday. We can see this game producing goals and we have gone for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.
