Braga v Rangers Draw

Braga and Rangers meet in the quarterfinals of the competition knowing they have upset the odds to reach this stage of the tournament. Rangers pulled off one of the results of the competition to knock out Borussia Dortmund, then coming through a tough test in Red Star Belgrade in the Round of 16. Braga produced one of their displays of the season to defeat Benfica 3-2 at the weekend and will come into this tie confident of progression. We believe that there may be a point where both sides could accept a draw ahead of the second leg and that is what we are going for.

Barcelona to beat Frankfurt

Xavi’s slow start as Barcelona manager quickly shifted gear and the Catalan side are now 13 games unbeaten in all competitions. His side navigated their way in what was a tough test in Galatasaray in the previous round to set up a quarter-final meeting with their German counterparts. Frankfurt come into this game unbeaten in six, however, their last two have played out as goalless draws. The German side are unbeaten in the Europa League this season, but we expect that to come to an end Thursday evening. We are backing Barca to extend their six-game away winning run and get the victory in the first leg.

West Ham to beat Lyon

London Stadium will host one of the biggest games in West Ham’s club history on Thursday night as they host Lyon in the Europa League quarter-final. The Hammers have terrific home form in 2022 coming into this game, scoring in every game they have played this year, whilst only conceding three goals in their last six home games. With a raucous atmosphere behind them, David Moyes’ team should have the wind in their sails. Lyon have had a shocker of a domestic season, currently sitting in mid-table in Ligue 1, with winning the Europa League their most realistic chance of returning to European football next season. We believe that West Ham will get the win on Thursday night and take the advantage to France for the second leg.
