Mallorca to beat Deportivo Alaves

This is a huge clash down at the foot of the La Liga table and it's one that both sides desperately need to win to help them in their respective battle to avoid the drop. Hosts Mallorca are out of the bottom three by just a single point and they’ll feel confident here given five of their seven league wins have come on home soil. Fulham to beat Preston North End

Hosts Fulham passed up an opportunity to seal promotion back to the Premier League when they lost 2-1 to a Derby County side whose relegation is now confirmed. The Cottagers have stumbled a bit lately, losing three of their last five, but a victory here would guarantee a top-two finish at a minimum. Meanwhile, visitors Preston are unbeaten across their last three games but travel to the capital having failed to win any of their last four away matches. Fulham are an excellent side and they should be able to shake off the jitters and get the job done in front of their own fans.

Rotherham United to beat Burton Albion

Hosts Burton have gradually been accruing points but they’ve seen three 0-0 draws on the bounce. In fact, they’ve gone five games without hitting the back of the net and title-chasing Rotherham will pose a different standard of test. The visitors' fate is in their own hands as they are above third-placed MK Dons on goal difference and occupy the final automatic promotion spot. Paul Warne will be banging the drum ahead of their last four games as they’ll possibly need to win at least three to guarantee promotion back to the Championship. Rotherham United will go all out for a win here and should succeed in doing just that.

Real Betis to beat Elche

Hosts Betis sit just three points adrift of the Champions League places and they’ll see this game against bottom half Elche as an ideal fixture to collect three points. Real Betis have drawn just two of their 16 league matches at the Benito Villamarín Stadium and a winner here seems likely. Elche will see this as a bonus match as they sit seven points clear of the dropzone and should accrue enough points from here on to guarantee their La Liga status. They’ve struggled on their travels this season, winning just three of their 16 away matches and losing 10 of those. Real Betis are undefeated in their last five and have the quality to take maximum points from this clash.
