Port Vale to beat Newport County

Plainly put, if Port Vale wins their game in hand here and they move above Northampton Town into the final automatic promotion spot in League Two. The hosts have stuttered lately by suffering back-to-back losses but if they fail to win here, it’s likely they’ll have to achieve promotion via the playoffs. Visitors Newport County have nothing to play for and will settle for a place in midtable and Port Vale should get the job done here

Bayer Leverkusen to beat Eintracht Frankfurt

The hosts will go all out here as a win would strengthen their grip on 3rd place and a Champions League spot. Leipzig are just a point behind back in 5th place and the hosts will see this as the perfect match considering the visitors' European exploits. Eintracht cannot qualify for Europe through their league position but are in a Europa League semi-final and have put all of their focus on that competition.

Leipzig to beat Borussia Monchengladbach

Leipzig are another side in the semi-final of the Europa League but they can still qualify for the Champions League via the Bundesliga. They occupy fifth spot and are a point adrift of the top four. The visitors have been woeful this season but are clear of relegation. However, they’re dealing with a host of injuries and given Leipzig’s form on the road of late, where they’ve won all of their last five, I’ll back the visitors to win again here.

Manchester United to beat Brentford

The Premier League’s Monday night fixture see’s Brentford travel north to Old Trafford. The visitors are pretty much safe from relegation but don’t have much else to play for and have key matches coming up against bottom-half sides. Meanwhile, Manchester United will do everything they can to qualify for the Europa League and have been undefeated in their last eight home league matches. The ‘Red Devils’ are also unbeaten in eight of their nine home games against bottom-half opposition this campaign.
