Derry City to win vs St Patricks

The boys from the brandy well find themselves at the top of the table after a 1-1 draw with Bohemians on Friday night, that was their fourth straight game without defeat. Sterner opposition now awaits at The Brandywell on Monday night with third placed St Patricks coming to town. In the reverse fixture just two weeks ago Derry came out victorious 4-0 so a win for the home side seems a sensible angle for this one.

Sheffield Wed vs Sunderland – Under 2.5 Goals

Our second selection of this Monday treble features action from the League One Playoffs. Sunderland nicked a 1-0 win last time out at the Stadium of Light and Sheffield Wednesday will have to score two if they are to advance to the Wembley showpiece. Sunderland could do enough to advance, however I feel under 2.5 goals is a safer bet. Both sides will be cagey and I am fully expecting a tight affair with few goals.

Shamrock Rovers to win and over 2.5 goals (vs Sligo)

The final selection to close out this treble also comes from Ireland’s Premier Division where former league leaders Shamrock Rovers take on Sligo Rovers. After a shaky start to the season, the Dubliners have gone on a tear winning six of their last seven games. In their two previous encounters in the last month, both games have ended in a draw however I feel the home side's recent form will ensure they get the three points in this one.
