Mansfield to beat Northampton

Mansfield come into the playoffs in excellent form after picking up eight points from a possible 12 in their final four fixtures. Mansfield will draw confidence from their excellent home form throughout the season with only Tranmere collecting more points at home.

Northampton can count themselves unlucky not to gain automatic promotion and will need to pick themselves back up for the first match of the playoffs. The last time these sides met, Mansfield ran out 1-0 winners and we are backing them to get the win again here.

Sheffield United to beat Nottingham Forest

Sheffield United reached the playoffs via a late charge, winning all of their last three including a 4-0 victory over Championship winners Fulham. The Blades face Nottingham Forest who have enjoyed an excellent second half of the season and were unlucky in the end to miss out on automatic qualification.

With that being said, Forest’s away form has been patchy and they’ve failed to win back-to-back away games. Forest have a great chance in the tie but we expect the Blades to go into the second leg with the advantage.

16:45 Saturday

Liverpool to beat Chelsea

The FA Cup Final promises to be a fascinating encounter with two of the world’s best managers going head to head. Chelsea have hit a bad run but have proven recent form in finals. Liverpool are clear favourites and rightfully so as they pursue and unprecedented quadruple after winning the League Cup in February. Over the course of 90 minutes we expect Liverpool’s better form to show to secure their second title of the season.

Roma to beat Venezia

Jose Mournho’s Roma managed to qualify for the Europa Conference League Final last Thursday at the expense of Leicester but still have plenty to play for in the league before they face Feyenoord in the Final.

Roma are winless in four in the league but have a massive opportunity to bounce back into form against last placed Venezia. A win would put the pressure on Lazio as they look to secure Europa League football for next season.
