oddschecker have picked out an 9/1 Thursday treble across the Nations League fixtures
19:45 Thursday
Serbia vs Norway – BTTS
Serbia have been good at home winning three of their last five and drawing the rest, but both teams have scored in all five of those games. Norway have developed a strong team with the likes of Haaland, Odegaard, and Sorloth leading the lines and with that fire power it’ll be hard to imagine them not grabbing one. Norway have kept several clean sheets in their recent games but based on the Serbia strong scoring home form, a BTTS outcome is likely to be the case in this game.
19:45 Thursday
Spain vs Portugal – Draw
Spain will be looking to go one better in the Nations League this year after their near miss in 2021. Having lost to France in the final in October, Luis Enrique’s side start their campaign against 2019 winners Portugal. Goals are hard to come by in this fixture, going off previous meetings, with three of the last four matches ending goalless and both teams scoring only happening in one meeting out of the last eight. Due to this we believe a draw is the most likely result when these two International heavy weights collide on Thursday.
19:45 Thursday
Slovenia vs Sweden – Under 2.5 Goals
These two teams have only met twice in their history and both games ended up being under 2.5 goals and if the recent form is to go by, don’t expect a goal fest here. Sweden have only seen over 2.5 goals in one of their last five matches, whilst Slovenia have seen their last two games end in a draw and under 2.5 goals. We expect a cagy affair with Sweden sitting back and hoping to counter attack throughout the game.
