Andy Holding's NAP Selection (19:00 Pontefract)
CHARGING THUNDER (NAP) has developed a nasty case of seconditus, but in his defence, all of his last performances have been of a fairly high standard and he’s afforded another chance to gain his due rewards over a C&D that saw him run out a comfortable winner last season.
Unlucky to bump into subsequent winner Shake A Leg on his opening bow of the campaign at Doncaster, David O’Meara’s gelding went on to fill out the same position at Lingfield, this time finding Ravens Ark just too strong late on. Game to the last that day, he once again stuck his neck out all the way to the line once Topanticipation went by him at York last time out and with the time figure from that competitive heat very good for the grade, it would be hard to knock him in any way for running close to a career high. Due to his one-pace, galloping nature, stiff tracks are always going to suit him best, and with that theory very much borne out by his overall body of work, a positive ride in the first-time cheekpieces look the order of the day.

George Gamble's Nations League Selection (Croatia vs France)
The 17/5 on France winning the match and both teams scoring is huge but given I want to be on the side of goals, I think this gives us some value. As previously mentioned, Didier Deschamps will be back in the dugout for this one and I think that can have some impact on the proceedings.
Both teams have found the back of the net in five of the last six meetings and considering both are coming into this one off the back of a disappointing loss on home soil, they’ll be eager to make amends and put in a better performance. That should lead to both teams creating chances and I do think we’ll see goals for both nations. However, Les Bleus will be without Kylian Mbappe but can bring in Christopher Nkunku who has been in unbelievable form this campaign.
I think this will be an exciting clash and I’ll have half a point on France returning to winning ways here with both teams scoring.
