Betting Tip: Both Teams to Score

A repeat of the Euro 202 final is upon us as England faceoff against Italy. However, since the Italians won on penalties, they failed to qualify for the World Cup and they could be forgiven for not showing too much intensity here.

The ‘Three Lions’ have wobbled somewhat in their first two Nations League matches, suffering a shock defeat against Hungary and drawing against Germany. But they’ll be looking to avenge their Euro final defeat here and given Italy have failed to score in two of their last three away matches, a strong backline could be vital.

Italy have hit the back of the net in 13 of their previous 16 away matches and you’d be wrong if you think Roberto Mancini’s side will just coast in this one. They always give their all when pulling on the famous blue jersey and I think they’ll give as good as they get once again.

Both teams have frequently hit the back of the net when these two face off and i think England will want to put in a strong performance after their last two results. I’ll be having a point on both teams' slotting.

Betting Tip: England win & BTTS

I like the odds on both teams scoring and so I will also be playing half a point on England coming away with the victory. The final 25 minutes of England’s match against Germany saw Gareth Southgate’s side play some exquisite football as they tried to create an opening for a possible winning goal. That was encouraging and I’m sure we will see more passages of play like that through the course of the 90 minutes here.

I’m never satisfied with England’s defensive line and they’re far more reliable going forward. It means that, in my opinion, England should be consistently playing on the front foot as opposed to inviting pressure as that’s where they’re most dangerous.

I think we’ll see a more attacking approach in this one after a dull couple of games and with such an impressive home record, I want to be on the side of England leaving Molineux Stadium with a win.
