England vs Italy – Draw

  • The last three meetings between the pair have ended in a draw

England host Italy on Saturday evening for the first time since the Euro 2020 final. Neither side has been at their best since then with Italy failing to qualify for the World Cup and England only picking up one point from a possible six in their opening two Nations League fixtures. Historically this fixture has produced plenty of draws with the last three fixtures between these two finishing 1-1 in 90 minutes.

Wales vs Belgium - Kevin De Bruyne to score anytime

  • Kevin De Bruyne scored in both World Cup qualifying meetings with Wales in 2021

Wales are yet to register a point in this Nations League campaign, after securing qualification to the Qatar World Cup at the expense of Ukraine. Wales’ fixture schedule doesn’t get any easier as they host Belgium on Saturday night. One player to look out for is Kevin De Bruyne who seems to particularly like this fixture having scored in both World Cup Qualifying matches against Wales back in 2021.

Luxembourg vs Turkey - Both teams to score, no

  • All four games in League C, Group 1 have ended to nil

Turkey will travel to Luxembourg full of confidence having scored 10 and conceded none in their opening two Nations League matches. No match in League C, Group One has seen both teams score so far and with Turkey’s attack and defence in excellent form that trend looks likely to continue here.

17:00 Saturday

Ireland vs Scotland - Under 2.5 Goals

  • The last three meetings between the pair have seen under 2.5 goals scored

Scotland travel to Ireland on Saturday in what looks a well matched fixture on paper. Ireland have struggled in the Nations League losing to Armenia and Ukraine without finding the back of the net in either fixture. Scotland started well with a 2-0 home win over Armenia and will be confident they can get a victory against Ireland. Historically this fixture hasn’t produced many goals with under 2.5 goals in the last three meetings. With Ireland struggling and Scotland away from home this could be yet another low scoring affair.
