The oddschecker team have picked out a 7/1 Thursday treble covering the Women's Euros, Republic of Ireland Premier Division & Eliteserien.
Norway to win by four or more goals
Norway come into the Euros off the back of five straight wins and face tournament debutants Northern Ireland at St. Mary’s stadium on Thursday evening. These are two familiar opponents, having played each other twice in the qualifying rounds back in 2019. Northern Ireland will be hoping for a closer contest this time round after their previous meetings finished 12-0 on aggregate.
They are the lowest ranked team in the tournament, are winless in five and face a difficult group that includes England and Austria. The question here isn’t if Norway will win, but by how many?
Bohemians win vs University College Dublin
University College Dublin (UCD) face an uphill battle when Bohemians visit the UCD Bowl on Thursday evening. They sit bottom of the table, having won only one of their 21 games and come into this match having lost three on the bounce.
The visitors currently sit 6th in the table and have two games in hand on the teams above them. They come into this game in poor form themselves, losing back-to-back matches and only winning one of their last five. That being said, they will come in with confidence knowing the last time they faced these opponents they were 3-0 winners.
Tromso win vs Kristiansund
Both teams come into this game in very poor form, with Kristiansund sitting rock bottom, not yet winning a game and Tromso drawing their last five.
After finishing 6th last season, Kristiansund are having a terrible season and find themselves nine points adrift of second bottom, facing the very real possibility of relegation. Despite this, Kristiansund’s win probability (at the time of writing) is as high as 30.99%, with a draw at 25.5% and Tromso most likely to win at 43.49%.
Tromso were relegated themselves in 2019 and won promotion back to the Eliteserien the following year. They finished 12th last season and hope to progress on that this year. With two games in hand on some of the teams around them, a win gives them a platform to push on for a top half finish.
