The oddschecker team have picked out a 12/1 Tuesday treble covering action in the Champions League qualifying round & International Friendlies.
18:00 Tuesday
FC Viktoria Plzen Win + BTTS vs HJK Helsinki
After winning 2-1 in Finland last week, Viktoria Plzen will take a slender lead into the second leg of their Champions League second-round qualifying tie against HJK Helsinki.
The Finnish side are looking to avoid a fourth consecutive elimination in the second qualifying round, while Plzen are aiming to win at this stage of the competition for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
Helsinki will be trying to keep their hopes of staying the Champions League alive but we think Plzen will utilise their home advantage to claim victory on Tuesday night with Helsinki getting on the scoresheet.
18:00 Tuesday
Sheriff Tiraspol win vs Maribor
Sheriff failed to break down a dogged Maribor defence in the first leg of their Champions League second-round qualifying tie, Sheriff Tiraspol will seek to turn their fortunes around in Tuesday's second leg at the Zimbru Stadium.
Maribor will have plenty of motivation to secure qualification to the next round but did pick up a big injury concern with Martin Milec sustaining an injury in the previous leg against Sheriff. Their number one goal keeper Azbe Jug is also sidelined leaving a selection headache for Karanovic.
Sheriff Tiraspol have far fewer injury concerns to work around and will hope to take advantage of Maribor's fatigue on home turf.
19:00 Tuesday
Ajax to win and BTTS vs Shaktar Donetsk
Ajax have had a busy pre-season playing five times since the 28th of June. Their form has been mixed but they seem to be hitting their stride with a 3-2 victory against RB Salzburg last time out. Shaktar Donetsk have only played once in the same period drawing 3-3 to Dutch side, Fortuna Sittard.
While Ajax’s attack is starting to click, their defensive record has been a cause for concern shipping eight goals in their last four games. We expect them to have the quality and the match sharpness to overcome Shaktar in this friendly but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Ukranian side get on the scoresheet. At best odds of 29/20, Ajax to win and both teams to score looks a promising angle.
