Fenerbahce SK Win vs Dynamo Kyiv

Following a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Poland last week, Fenerbahce SK look to win the tie at home in front of their own fans to progress to the third qualifying round, where the winners of the tie will be facing Austrian side Sturm Graz.

Fenerbahce have won their five most recent pre-season matches, scoring 14 goals in the process, but were unable to score past the Ukrainian side in the first leg, in their bid to qualify for the Champions League group stages for the first time since the 2008/09 season.

Dynamo Kyiv, on the other hand, lost their two most recent pre-season games before the goalless draw with the Turkish side last week, and we think Jorge Jesus’ Fenerbahce are favourites to win the tie within 90 minutes.

Olympiacos Win vs Maccabi Haifa

After Dolev Haziza’s dramatic equaliser for Maccabi Haifa in the first leg, Olympiacos go into their second leg tie level on aggregate with the Israeli side at 1-1, with the winners on Wednesday night’s game set to play Cyprian outfit Apollon Limassol in the third qualifying round.

The Greek Super League champions have only won two of their eight pre-season matches, losing four and drawing two, but hold an impressive home form at the Karaiskakis Stadium, only losing three of their last 28 competitive matches.

Maccabi Haifa also come into the second leg out of form, losing the last four games in all competitions prior to the first leg draw in Israel. With this in mind, we expect the Greek side to progress to the next stage of the Champions League in 90 minutes.

Germany Women Win vs France Women

The second semi final in the Women’s Euro Championship will see Germany and France lock horns at the Stadium MK for a chance to contest the Women’s Euro 2022 final at Wembley on Sunday 31st, with the winners playing the winners of England Women’s semi-final against Sweden.

Germany are the only team left in the competition yet to concede a goal, highlighting their defensive qualities which will help them prevail against the French. They beat Denmark, Spain and Finland in the group stages, as well as beating Austria 2-0 in the quarter finals.

France was taken to extra time against the Netherlands, but a penalty in the first half of extra time, converted by Eve Perisset, was enough to secure their semi final place. Germany have won this competition 8 times, while France have reached their first ever semi-final in the competition. History suggests Germany have the experience to go all the way, but France are a force to be wary off. Despite this, we think Germany will progress into the final in 90 minutes.
