18:15 Leopardstown

I’m really looking forward to the Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday night and BEAMISH might be worth sticking with to remain unbeaten. This Teofilo colt has answered every call so far and I was particularly impressed at Roscommon last time. That was a Listed race and he was slowly into stride but he travelled into it like the class act in the field and as soon as he was switched left to challenge there was only going to be one winner. He has been strong at the line in all three of his wins and while this is a step up again now tackling Group company he is very much the unknown quantity in the field and I can see him taking the step up in his stride. Gear Up and Licence should go hard and I can see him relishing a truer gallop. Cleveland is now with Joseph O’Brien and could be primed for a big run while Layfayette always has to be respected but it won’t be easy giving weight away all round.
