Crystal Palace vs Arsenal - Both Teams to Score

Crystal Palace host Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the Premier League curtain raiser on Friday evening, all eyes will be on the action at Selhurst Park and it’s a game that should live up to the billing. While we have to take pre-season results with a pinch of salt, both sides appear to be in good goalscoring form with Arsenal putting six past Sevilla last time out, while Palace scored four against Montpellier. Historically this match has produced goals with four of the last six match ups finishing with both sides on the scoresheet. With Arsenal’s bolstered attack and Palace’s home support we’re backing both teams to score.

Birmingham vs Huddersfield – Under 2.5 Goals

Both Birmingham and Huddersfield will be disappointed with the way they started the season last weekend, registering no goals and only three shots on target between them. Birmingham managed to get points on the board, playing out a goalless draw but failed to create enough chances to capture all three points. Under 2.5 goals looks a promising angle here, the last three fixtures between these two sides would have seen that selection land, a trend we expect to continue.

Bayern Munich to Win and Both Teams to Score

Reigning Bundesliga champions travel to Deutsche Bank Park to take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening. It’s a fixture that has historically produced goals with five of the last six seeing over 2.5 goals. Bayern have been in fine goalscoring of late, winning the DFL Supercup 5-3 against Leipzig last weekend. With Frankfurt buoyed by their home support we expect them to play their part in a high scoring match but ultimately Bayern should have enough firepower to secure all three points.
