Leicester vs Brentford – Both Teams to Score

Leicester have regularly got the better of Brentford in this matchup, narrowly winning the last three fixtures between these two sides. With that being said they usually concede, Brentford have scored in four of the last five meetings between the two. Both sides have enjoyed a decent pre-season and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet in this one and we think both teams to score is a promising angle in.

Man Utd vs Brighton – Under 2.5 Goals

Erik Ten Hag faces a stern test in his first Premier League game in charge at Old Trafford as the Seagulls come to town. Manchester United have had the summer to recover from the 4-0 thrashing at the AMEX in May but already look thin on the ground as Anthony Martial has been ruled out through injury.  While the head to head stats would have you think this could be a high scoring game I’m not sure either side has the firepower to be as expansive as they’d like in the first game of the 2022/23 campaign. We are backing a cagey affair and under 2.5 goals in this one.

West Ham vs Man City – Man City win

Surprisingly, in the last six seasons the reigning Premier League champions have lost their opening match on three occasions. Man City certainly face a difficult away day at the London Stadium but with the business they did over the summer they look worthy of their odds-on price to win the League again this year. West Ham have struggled in pre-season and Man City are likely to come out with a point to prove after a Community Shield defeat. We expect City to head home with all three points.
