West Bromwich Albion Win vs Watford

West Bromwich Albion face Watford at home in their opening home league fixture of the season. Both sides are unbeaten across their last three matches and six of the last eight meetings have produced fewer than three goals and another tight match is expected.

The Baggies will be desperate to improve on their rather disappointing tenth-place finish last season and will be gunning for a place in the playoffs at least, in their bid to return to the Premier League, following their relegation two seasons ago.

Watford are still getting to grips with life under ex-Forest Green Rovers manager, Rob Edwards. With the stars of last season Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr still at the club, they will be able to help the Hornets on Monday night, despite being linked with moves away.

It looks like it will be a close game, but we think West Bromwich Albion will justify favouritism to take all three points and maintain their unbeaten start to the season with a win here.

Genoa Win vs Benevento

After relegation last season, Genoa host Benevento in an all Serie B clash in the Coppa Italia. Benevento have a good record against the hosts, who have only won one of the last four matches between the two sides. This will also be their second encounter in as many weeks, as they play again in the league on August 20th.

However with home support, Genoa will be keen to get their campaign off to a winning start, and they certainly have the superior quality to secure victory here. At evens they look like a good value addition to Monday’s treble.

Sassuolo Win vs Modena FC 2018

Another Coppa Italia game here, with Serie A outfit Sassuolo travelling to promoted side Modena. Sassuolo will be aiming to improve on their 11th place in the top tier of Italian Football, while Modena will be looking to maintain stability as they find their feet in the tier below.

The last time these teams played was in 2015 in the same competition, with Sassuolo winning 2-0 on that occasion. After losing Gianluca Scamacca and his 16 league goals last season, the visitors will be looking to rely on Domenico Berardi to carry them across the line on Monday night. At odds-against Sassuolo are good value to claim victory on the road.
