Burnley to win each half

Burnley have impressed in two league matches so far under Vincent Kompany, particularly in the Championship opener at Huddersfield Town where the 1-0 scoreline far from reflected their dominance in the match.

We have seen a huge change in their approach over the first two weekends, something which should play into their favour in the warm weather. So far, the Clarets have averaged 70.4% possession against Huddersfield and Luton.

The importance of keeping the ball has not been lost on the Acca Scout, who has picked out four teams playing on Saturday at 3pm with strong possession stats for a 113/1 best price acca.

Playing on Friday night, Burnley were of course not included in this but we think they're well set to make it seven points from nine. Watford have the same number of points on the board after two but may be without star attacker Ismaila Sarr, who has shortened into 1/2 to join Leeds.

Burnley to have most corners in each half

In 38 Premier League games last season, Burnley averaged 4.84 corners per match and conceded more than any other team in the league (2.55 at an average of 6.71).

Now in the Championship, they've taken this up a level - racking up 16 corners in two matches including 11 against Luton. At the other end, only Norwich (with just one) have conceded fewer corners than Burnley (three).

Watford have only won five corners in two matches, conceding 16. This continues a trend from last season, where they only picked up an average of 4.24 across 38 Premier League matches - only Newcastle and Brentford won less.
