Nottingham Forest vs West Ham - Under 2.5 Goals

Forest host the Hammers in the earlier kick off on Sunday with hopes of getting their first points on the board this campaign. West Ham are also yet to register a point after losing 2-0 to title favourites Man City, whose new number nine was in destructive form. David Moyes was disappointed with West Ham’s performance who despite defending relatively well failed to threaten Ederson’s goal. They’ll be expecting an easier time of things at the City Ground but it may take a few matches before Scamacca settles in and their front line starts to click.

It was a similar story for Nottingham Forest who battled hard against Newcastle but were eventually over powered in a 2-0 defeat. Forest rode their luck for long periods of the game as Newcastle put together a number of fluid attacks and the away team never established a foothold. Both Forest and West Ham have failed to show any attacking spark and therefore under 2.5 goals looks like a promising angle in on Sunday. 

Chelsea vs Spurs - Both Teams to Score

Chelsea and Spurs both got off to winning starts last season beating Everton and Southampton respectively. Thomas Tuchel’s side were able to pick up all three points thanks to a Jorginho penalty at the end of the second half. Meanwhile, Antonio Conte’s team were in excellent from at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, putting four past Southampton in a 4-1 win.

Chelsea have plenty of work to do to get their attack firing at full capacity but should be right up for this one as their London rivals come to town. It’s hard to envisage a scenario where Spurs don’t get on the scoresheet given the display they put on last weekend even if Chelsea do represent a sterner test. We are expecting both sides to find the back of the net here with Chelsea buoyed by their home support and Spurs continuing the good form they showed last time out. 

Middlesbrough vs Sheffield United - Under 2.5 Goals

The earlier kick off in the Championship sees Middlesbrough welcome Sheffield United to the Riverside. This looks like it could be another low scoring affair with both teams struggling for consistency so far this season. Middlesbrough have one draw and one loss to their name at home in all competitions while Sheffield United have failed to get a result on the road despite two opportunities.

Given their form so far this season and the fact that only one of the six games involving these sides in all competitions has resulted in more than two goals, we are expecting a low scoring match this weekend.

Blackburn vs West Brom - Blackburn Draw No Bet

Our final selection comes from Blackburn vs West Brom where the away side are currently the marginal favourites to get the win. Both sides remain unbeaten this season showing excellent form in the League and the League Cup. With Blackburn putting in two excellent performances at home we are backing them in the draw no bet market. Given that Steve Bruce’s side have managed to grind out two 1-1 draws in the League so far this season, the draw no bet angle gives us the extra insurance if that trend continues.
