Brentford to beat Everton

For the first leg of this weekend’s FavFour, we travel to West London where Frank Lampard’s Everton are the visitors to Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium. The Bees come into this game with a win, draw, and loss from their opening three games and were defeated 3-2 last time in the league by West London rivals Fulham thanks to a 90-min winner from Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Everton will also be disappointed with their last league result, where they left it late to score an equaliser to draw with newly promoted Nottingham Forest. Thomas Frank’s team beat Everton in both league fixtures last season and we are backing them to pick up the three points on Saturday.

15:00 Saturday

Millwall to beat Reading

Reading travel to The Den on Saturday looking to break Millwall’s 100% start at home in the Championship. Both sides have had a promising start to this season with Reading picking up three wins from their opening five. Similarly, Milwall are also in the top half of the table with two wins, a draw, and two defeats from their opening five. Millwall’s two victories have come at home, and we are backing them to make it three wins from three at The Den and extend their winning run over Reading to four games.

15:00 Saturday

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Forest Green Rovers

Sheffield Wednesday and Forest Green Rovers meet for the first time in the two club’s history as the newly promoted side face the League One title favourites at Hillsborough. Wednesday are one of the league’s form teams having won five of their seven games played this season. On the other hand, Forest Green have only picked up one win from five in the league as they adjust to life in the third tier. We are backing The Owls to continue their hot start and pick up the three points at home on Saturday.

15:00 Saturday

Leyton Orient to beat Hartlepool

For the final leg of this week’s FavFour, we travel to East London where League Two leaders Leyton Orient host Paul Hartley’s Hartlepool United. Hosts Orient have won four, drawn one from their opening five league games and are yet to concede a goal at The Breyer Group Stadium. Hartlepool are without an away win in their previous six league games, justifying their price of nearly 5/1 to get the victory Saturday. We think that The O’s will continue their 100% home record in the league and get the win.
