Football Accumulator Tips: Wednesday’s 7/1 treble predicts dominant City win

Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest - City to Win & Over 3.5 goals 

Manchester City got back on track after drawing 3-3 with Newcastle last week and came back from behind to beat Crystal Palace 1-0. Erling Haaland scored his first Premier League hat-trick and now sits as top scorer with six goals in four games. Despite their unusually leaky defence, City still look like the dominating force going forward. 

Forest were involved in a close game at the weekend vs Tottenham but came out 2-0 losers after some late drama involving Richarlison. Steve Cooper will be pleased with his side’s start to the season and their performances. 

They have won one and drew two of their opening games have looked well drilled throughout. Despite this, we think City will have too much quality and will win quite comfortably. 

West Ham vs Tottenham - Both Teams to Score

West Ham finally scored their first goal of the season in their 1-0 win away at Villa Park on Sunday and David Moyes will be hoping this kickstarts their season. 

They had a dreadful start to the season, losing their opening three games and looked like a shadow of the team they were last year. However, Gianluca Scamacca has been a bright point for them, scoring two in their bid for UEFA Conference League qualification. 

Antonio Conte will be happy with his side’s start to the season, winning three of four and currently sitting joint second without a loss to their name. They haven’t been the most dominant in matches but Conte has got them grinding out results, a true sign of a good team. 

Harry Kane has looked good so far and has looked like the sharpshooter needed to compete at the top end of the table. With prowess of their attack and West Ham’s potential turn of form, we think both teams to score is the smart play here. 

Liverpool vs Newcastle - Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score

Liverpool got off to a slow start to the season but responded with a 9-0 demolition of Bournemouth at the weekend. Firmino was instrumental in his side’s performances, racking up five goal contributions and is set for another start again this week. 

Salah will be slightly disheartened with his performance as he was not able to score or contribute to any of Liverpool’s nine goals. He and Klopp will be hoping this is the kickstart to their season that they so desperately needed to stay competitive with City. 

Eddie Howe will be happy with his sides start to the season as they have looked solid and compact. They have drawn three of their first four and sit 7th in the league, one point behind Chelsea and Leeds. They have looked good going forward so far with Saint-Maximin terrorising defences, and with the addition of Isak to their front line it is sure to get better. 

Because Liverpool haven’t looked at their best defensively we think Newcastle are sure to score at least one, but we also think Liverpool will have too much quality on the day and will be in front of a packed out Anfield which will help them win this one.
