The oddschecker team have picked out a 10/1 Tuesday treble covering action in the Football League Trophy.
19:00 Tuesday
Sheffield Wednesday win + over 2.5 goals vs Burton
Darren Moore’s Wednesday have made a strong start to the season having claimed 17 points from their opening nine league games. Burton, on the other hand, have endured a wretched start to the season, losing seven of their opening eight league games before finally picking up their first win against Exeter City at the weekend.
Given the Wednesday resources, superior form and playing in front of the Hillsborough faithful, we can only imagine a comfortable win for Wednesday, so the Wednesday win and over 2.5 goals angle is what we are going for.
19:00 Tuesday
Leyton Orient win vs Sutton
Leyton Orient currently sit top of League Two and having claimed an impressive 25 points from nine games, and they face a Sutton side who are chasing an automatic promotion place.
Orient have been impressive in the league but their last time out in the Football League Trophy, they lost 5-0 to Oxford, while Sutton picked up a 1-0 victory against Chelsea Under 21’s.
Sutton are yet to pick up a win away from home this year and face a tough task in travelling to The Breyer Group Stadium expecting to take all three points. Because of this, we fancy a Leyton Orient win.
19:00 Tuesday
Bolton win vs Tranmere
Bolton currently sit 5th in League One having collected 17 points from their opening nine games and face League Two opposition in the form of Tranmere who have collected 10 points from their opening nine games.
Bolton have one of the best defences in League One having only conceded six goals this year, whilst Tranmere have conceded nine goals in nine games. Ian Evatt’s men also come into this one on a four game winning streak across all competitions so we fancy League One Bolton to pick up all three points in this one.
