Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool - Liverpool

Nottingham Forest play Liverpool in the early kick off on Saturday. Forest come into the game having only scored one goal in their last four games, and are in dire need of some attacking return against Liverpool.

They defended well to get a point away at Brighton, one which many Forest fans considered a decent result. Despite this, the Premier League runners up from last season will be a different test

Jurgen Klopp’s side have picked up back to back 1-0 wins, which has helped them shoot up the table. They are now two points behind 6th place Newcastle with a game in hand, which considering the their poor start, it is not a terrible position to be in.

An Alisson penalty save secured a win against West Ham after a Man of the Match performance against Manchester City at the weekend. Klopp’s side have had back to back clean sheets and they’ll be expecting another one against low scoring Nottingham Forest.

We think Liverpool's attacking quality will be too much for Forest, and they'll be comfortable winners at the City Ground, so that’s the angle we're going for here.

Manchester City vs Brighton - Manchester City

Manchester City have had a week off as their match against Arsenal was rearranged to make way for the Gunners’ Europa League tie against PSV Eindhoven.

Despite their defeat, they still sit in second place after Tottenham failed to capitalise on the Manchester side not playing, after they lost to their neighbours Manchester United 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Brighton were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest at home, which looked like a great chance to end their run of three games without a win since Roberto De Zerbi took charge.

They have also failed to score since their 3-3 draw against Liverpool, and with the quality of Manchester City’s defensive unit, they may struggle to score at the Etihad, severely decreasing their chances of coming away with any points.

With this in mind, we think City should be comfortable winners against Brighton.

Everton vs Crystal Palace - Everton

Everton host Crystal Palace at Goodison Park. The two sides have had contrasting fortunes as of late, with the hosts losing their last three games whereas Palace are unbeaten with two wins and a draw.

While Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle are all sides in much better form than Everton, the run of three games without any points could be demoralising for the Everton faithful.

Dominic Calvert Lewin played 73 minutes against Newcastle as he continues his return from injury, which has made him miss the majority of the season so far. He gives Frank Lampard more attacking options for a side who have struggled to score in their last two, albeit both games being away from home.

As for Palace, they won their last two games and were unlucky to lose against Chelsea, but they have drawn in three of their four away games this season, proving hard to beat. Palace have a good opportunity to pick up some points before the World Cup starts, and will want to avoid defeat at Goodison to carry on their good run.

With the bolstering of their attacking options, and the advantage of being in front of the Goodison Park faithful, we think Everton will end their poor form and win against Patrick Vieira’s Palace side.

Chelsea vs Manchester United - Chelsea

The big game of the day sees Chelsea and Manchester United lock horns in the late Saturday kick off. Chelsea have looked defensively solid thanks to the re-emergence of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and have kept five clean sheets in their last six, winning five of those. The winning run was ended against Brentford last Wednesday, as they were held to a goalless draw against the Bees.

Manchester United have gone from strength to strength in recent weeks, They have won six of their last eight, beating Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham at Old Trafford in the process. They suffered an embarrassing 6-3 defeat to Manchester City at the start of the month, but are unbeaten in all competitions since.

Both teams are in good form at the moment, and they have been impossible to separate in their last four Premier League meetings, which have all ended in draws. We think, however, that the West London side have enough to nick it at home against the Reds.
