Leeds vs Fulham – Fulham win

Fulham were able to claim a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa and this turned out to be the final nail in the coffin for the Villa hierarchy to sack Steven Gerrard.

Marco Silva’s job is certainly secure with the Cottagers, but Jesse Marsch will certainly start to feel uncomfortable. The American’s last league win was on 21st August against Chelsea and has only picked up two points from seven games.  

The 3-0 win also saw the return of Mitrovic amongst the goals again, with the Serbian scoring from the penalty spot. This will give Fulham’s top goalscorer some confidence ahead of this test on the weekend.

We fancy Fulham to add to Marsch’s woes and have gone for a Fulham win here.

Wolves vs Leicester – Over 0.5 Total Goals

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side make the trip to Molineux Stadium on Sunday, in what could be an important match in the context of both these teams survival chances.

Not many people would have placed these two sides in the relegation zone when this fixture was first revealed, but this is the case for both clubs.

Both will be desperate to pick up points here and we can see both really pushing for a victory. Wolves have only seen one 0-0 game this season and the same for Leicester, so we are going to go for over 0.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs Brentford – Brentford or Draw

After the sacking of Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa will be hoping to get a response from their players when Brentford come to visit.

Brentford have had a stellar second season and currently sit in 10th position. The Bees have only lost three games in the Premier League all season but draws have certainly been one of their issues with Thomas Frank’s men picking up five so far.

One issue Gerrard faced was finding his best side and this will be the same issue for the caretaker manager at Villa, and because of this we fancy a double chance with Brentford winning or walking away with a draw.

Southampton vs Arsenal – Arsenal & Under 3.5 goals

Arsenal all but secured their status as top of their Europa League group, with a 1-0 victory against PSV on Thursday, and now face Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday.

Arteta’s men are currently four points clear of Manchester City and have been impressive away from home, having yet to concede. With the constant fixtures, it seems to have affected the Arsenal squad with their last three results ending 1-0.

The Saints have picked up some form with a  1-1 draw against West Ham and 1-0 win against Bournemouth and they will be hoping to continue this good form.
