Both Teams to Score Tips: Saturday’s 11/2 Premier League Acca

Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Bournemouth welcome Tottenham to Dean Court, with both sides without a clean sheet in their last three games in all competitions, as well as being without a win in those same three games.

Bournemouth’s form has improved since Gary O’Neil took over as caretaker manager, but their form has halted recently, with them losing both of their last two games without scoring.

Tottenham travel to the south coast having had a last minute winner against Sporting CP in midweek chalked off by VAR. It leaves them needing a result in Marseille to confirm their place in the knockout rounds. Their league form has also been poor recently, losing away at Manchester United and defeated by Newcastle at home. Antonio Conte will be keen for a quick bounce back.

With both teams in a slump at the moment, and looking for improved performances, we think that both teams could score in this one.

Crystal Palace v Southampton

Crystal Palace face Southampton at Selhurst Park with both teams looking for three points.

Patrick Vieira’s side are yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season and are coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Everton away from home. Palace, despite their poor clean sheet record, have picked up the majority of their league points at home, with 10 of their 13 points being in front of their own fans. Both teams have scored in the last five games between Palace and their opponents.

The visitors come in to the game on a better run of form, as they are unbeaten in their last three games. They salvaged a point against top of the table Arsenal at St Mary’s last time out, which came after beating Bournemouth 1-0. Ralph Hasenhuttl has been under a lot of pressure to steer Southampton away from the relegation zone, but they are currently just a point behind Palace.

Both teams scored between these two sides last season, with a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park last season before Crystal Palace beat the Saints 2-1 at St Mary’s. With this in mind, and the lack of clean sheets between the two sides, we think both teams will score here.

Brighton vs Chelsea

Brighton play host to Chelsea, which will see ex-Seagulls manager Graham Potter return to the club he managed from 2019 until last month. Brighton’s new manager Roberto De Zerbi is without a win in his first five games but has faced a tricky set of opening fixtures including those against the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and now Chelsea.

As for the visitors, they come off the back of a midweek win against RB Salzburg which guaranteed their spot in the knockout rounds of the Champions League. They have drawn their last two games in the Premier League, with a goalless draw and 1-1 draw against Brentford and Manchester United respectively. They kept five clean sheets in a row but have since conceded in their last two games, highlighting the defensive mishaps creeping in to their games of late.

With this in mind, we think both teams will score at the AMEX on Saturday.
